Youth Is For The Young

How many times have you heard this speech?
Was it when you were reaching for something just beyond your reach?
But I've got news for the one who invented this speech:
That may apply to them, but in my mind and heart, I'm still a "Georgia Peach."

So I'm not as agile or pretty - that is real plain to see
But my hear, mind and soul are flowing completely free.
So any limitations that time has imposed on me - you can plainly see -
Can't slow my spirit down for it will, forever and a day, be

A celebration of my life and the precious gifts I"ve been given,
For the strength and courage for which I have ever striven.
To leave a legacy that will live on and be, hopefully, some help to others
Who will come when I am gone. A gift to my earthly sisters and brothers.

A youthful spirit is a might gift. Do not observe it lightly
For that youthful spirit is born of God and it is strong and mighty.
Always keep this thought in mind, even as you depart this life
To where everyone will be forever young and there'll never be any strife.
