You Need To Know

First and foremost, it is imperative that you know
Who you truly are, and which route your mind seems to go.
Sometimes it is easier to analyze another's life than your own;
Because you are so emotionally involved, sometimes reason is gone.

That "ages old" saying "know thyself" is not idle words,
But it's the most evasive undertaking anyone will have ever heard.
We can not always understand all the contributing factors
That establish our personal analysis or how closely as we can exact.

We tend to be too critical when evaluating our lives,
Or we may go to the other extreme and make many excuses for our lives.
Only you know what life has offered you and how you have responded.
It's a life in progress, and you are the engineer who's guiding you to "stronger."
