When Your Clock Stops...

It doesn't mean time has stopped. It only means we've got to fix
The problem. As time has passed, we don't use the ticks
Any more to keep us aware the clock is working okay.
We are aware, however, if it's night or still day.

We just proceed to change the battery, or if electric, check the plug.
Anyway, except for a bit of inconvenience, we feel nice and snug.
I thought "It's no more than any other problem we deal with."
We understand that time moves on regardless. Time ending was just a myth.
