When The Circle Closes

Many of us are blessed on our day of birth
With a loving circle who welcome us to earth.
This love, support and protection are so vital
To our growth, advancement and even our survival.

As life progresses, other relationships are formed;
Your circle for your offspring against life's storms.
And so it goes throughout life as years roll on.
A legacy you give with love - you pass it on.

But don't forget the wider circle that reaches way beyond
The home and hearth to include the far reaching bond
For the friends we made and those we will yet find.
When the circle closes, we all lose. Keep that in mind!
