When Life Is New

I see all of life in the faces of all our children in all earth's places.
The sincerity born of a secured love, if not social graces.
Such simplistic faith that comes from inner innocence, no questions asked.
It vibrates like sound waves throughout the solar system vast.

You can feel and see their pervasive evaluation emitting from their eyes,
A reflection of their soul. You know love lives there. It cannot be denied.
Deep inside, they understand the fundamentals of real life.
Their eyes give evidence of a deep certainty that nullifies the strife.

Maybe someday we all can experience that closeness with our creator,
For it is an intimate relationship between the created and the creator.
God dwells in places we seldom ever see, only if we are aware
Can we respond to the evidence of the "when" and the "where."
