To What Do We Attribute This?

Most everyone is sensitive to the universal awareness out there -
To feel the magnetic force that attracts or repels us in responding where
Maybe, even no word is spoken - it may be simply a genuine smile or a sigh,
But you feel the kindredship and recognize this consciousness in their eyes.

This is an awareness that operates on a subconscious strata, ages old.
It manifests as automatically as if your consciousness were on "hold."
There is so much in life that operates in this way, like automatic
And the message comes through clear, strong, and with no question. It is emphatic.

Science is delving more into the unseen world, here and elsewhere
And learning things that before this present time, we could only dare
To form our own philosophical explanation to even attempt to explain
A phenomenon that is on a total other level or an unseen plane.

We speak of such spiritual acknowledgment as a "kindred soul",
A ""soul mate" and many other explanations that have come to us from "old" -
But the experience has always been familiar to "think alikes" and probably always will
For "me thinks" that when we leave this physical world - we will be "soul mates" still.

There is such recognition of each other, when the one leaves the earth first,
There is a subconscious awareness, "It was good seeing you on this visit to earth.
I'll see you again, later, and we'll reunite when it's my time to go."
You feel no doubt within your heart. It's just a fact that you know.
