There Is A Reason
You may have already figured it out, if you've ever been a victim.
When you're at the mercy of these overbearing ones who need, so bad, a victim.
You not only resist and resent, you learn more than the perpetrators ever dream,
'Cause in that warped mind, they have, long ago, decided that abuse is their dream.
It blows up their ego and attempts to make a worthwhile act out of violence.
Yes, it's warped, but abuse always is, and all they live for is violence.
How else can they stay in control? They cannot, will not control themselves.
So abusing others relieves them of controlling their life and themselves.
Can you imagine what this world would be like if this was all we had?
Not much point in hoping they'll ever see the light or how bad
This way of life really is. To them, it works; it inflates their "less-than" ego,
And it transfers their weakness and thought you'd never know.
Knowing the reason does not solve the problem but at least you now know
The name of their game, and they will find at least one less victim to salve their soul.
When we all become aware of these who hurt and use
Others, you can bet it's gonna cut way down on the victims of abuse.
Oh, I forgot to mention, you are the victim twice. You messed up 'cause you didn't obey,
So it's just their egotistical duty to make sure you pay.
Also, they make sure they have convinced you way back there
That they are earth's great gift to you, and if they leave, you ain't nowhere.
