There'll Be Weeds Growing

In each and every garden here on earth, though we never planted them,
Earth's soil is ever full of seeds of weeds. Our hope is dim
of ever being free of seeds we did not plant. Weeds are never planted
Nor cultivated, but they grow and just take their control for granted.

Why is it, weeds never have to be fertilized or planted.
But our little packets of seeds take a miracle to grow, while weeds just take for granted
Their right to rule the garden patch. When we can begin eating weeds,
They we've got it made, and we'll have a garden every year without planting seeds
