The Trademark

Every man-made production usually bears a trademark or Company name,
Even if it's only a name who might be held to blame
If such merchandise does not meet what's promised;
This, at least, helps to keep the transaction honest.

Some trademarks are well known and readily recognized -
So in the long run, a good product is considered wise
To have this guideline to measure your purchase by.
We see this as good business - no need to question why.

People of questionable intentions do not wear tags like those material labels.
But as we've learned, "By their actions, you will know them, plain as day on the table.
This becomes easier as you gain experience, and "right off" they tip their hand
For they don't know that you know just exactly how they plan.

Real friends have your best interests at heart and they're not peddling junk.
They do not deal with friends in a devious and lying hunk of bunk.
To have a friend, you must be a friend, not just pretend. This soon proves out
As each proves just who they are as they display what they're exactly all about.
