The Sun Is Always Shining - Somewhere

No matter how dark and dreary our longest day may be,
We understand the sun is always up there, even though we cannot see
It's golden sunshine. We have the faith 'cause it has always been there!
On the gloomiest days, we never question, "Where?"

Above the stormy day we know it's there. When the stormy time has passed,
We rejoice and carry on - hoping it will stay awhile and last!
And when our sun disappears just before the night,
We know it'll rise tomorrow in all its glory, a welcome sight.

So while there's darkness here where we live, it's shining on those who see it now.
We don't have to be a scientist to understand how
This miracle happens. We accept it in faith because God said, "Let there be light,"
So we understand: it's always up there, even in our darkest night.
