The Restless Water Falls

The restless water falls and is on its tumultuous journey to wherever nature calls.
The placid lake calls us towards rest and peace beside the wall
Of nature's trees and flowers, there to rest upon the gentle peace
That covers this sweet place in love without ceasing.

To each their own and maybe, at different times along the way,
Each offering its own gift for what we need this day.
To me, the falls speak of turbulent power in wild uncontrol,
But the still waters comfort the raging "falls" of my soul.
