The Nile Disease

Does your area have an epidemic of that awful Nile Disease?
You're lucky if you never had to contend with it. It leaves everyone ill at ease.
There is one they call juve-Nile and the other one is called se-Nile.
And every one of the accusers has been there and are going there to this Nile.

You mature, "worth living" ones, we all go this route.
Can't you understand, you're no more or less of a person whatever era you're about.
All of you in this elite group must remember your days as a juvenile,
And if you live, you're headed for the human conception of senile.

So why the superior attitude? YOu've been there, and you're headed there.
Is it because this group is apt to be in a better position to run our nations anywhere.
If that's all you can understand in life, then you are not yet mature
Enough to fill that station either. Maybe the stables need you to shovel manure.

In that case, you'll learn about what's what and who's who
Before you reach the second Nile. I hope so, 'cause what will you do
When you reach old age immature, but unprepared for the senile category?
Honey, juvenile is disconcerting enough, but senile is a bad ending to a great story.

Since people are living longer and more productively - way on into senile -
Maybe we'll all stop evaluating people according to this age and style.
I've got a feeling this is another milestone into our New Age awareness
When you reach today's senile, give me a call and we'll measure progress in all fairness.

Enjoy each segment and celebrate with the "Niles", for you only get one chance at such in this life. And if you can't accept this, then you have a bad case of de-Nile.
