The Music Of The Soul

There're all kinds of music in this old world, our home.
Some is coming from the distant ethers, harmonies we've never known.
Some is born of our spirits where our joyous hearts ever sing,
And the Angels' choir that flutters down upon their wings.

There's a murmured song upon the wind and upon the trees
Giving lightness to the spirit as nature has decreed.
The ocean waves crash in crescendo upon the peaceful shore
As the crashing of the cymbal with a thunderous roar.

There's another kind of music just as dear to our hearts
And we each can acknowledge this bubbling joy springing from the heart.
And if you've never been aware of this music from the soul
It's because you were not listening to this etheric gold.

This music is the "laughter" as it issues forth across the air to cheer us all.
The small child's face of pure sunshine, the playing child shouting out their call
Reminiscing with a friend and forgetting even the hour.
The ultimate joy in laughter - A child, with wild abandon running through a field of flowers

And the quiet song that silently dwells within, never heard by anyone
But you. But the vibration from that song reverberates to everyone,
To the children, the birds, the pets and some special angels, too
Are aware of this peaceful joy that issues forth from you.
