The Funny Side of Life

I always heard people saying "the sunny side of life," but then one day
I realized that the funny side wasn't always the sunny side, so now I say
If you can see the funny in the ironies of life, then I believe
You've as good as found the sunny side. I do perceive

That if you look to find the humor in your daily presentations,
It can make the difference in your outlook and aspirations.
When you can laugh at the comedic roles we have to play,
My dear one, you evermore do have it made in every way.
