Someday, These Days Will Be

Someday these days will be sweet memories of a time long past.
Have a special repository in your memory bank that is so vast
It will hold every memory you care to remember, forever
Enclosing in your heart and soul everything that will absolutely never

Be outdated history - not in your lifetime and for those who follow.
Who can always share those same memories through the years that follow.
That's how family members bind together for generations
To ever share these parts of life that were shared at many family celebrations.

Sometimes, just a word or a laugh or an expression on someone's face
Will call a recollection to speak again and now suddenly the place
You lived and filed away, comes to visit on this, another day.
These memories keep coming back so we can relive, again, that long-ago day.
