Our Perspective

Our perspective is coming from the place we view - how many think
That determines our viewpoint on every issue. That is a link
To our past, our training, our own evaluation according to "us."
Each life has a feedback story that decides how we interpret. First

We collate our accumulated facts, our experiences and what we've been taught.
Like a computer, it computes instantaneously how our file was wrought.
The choices are totted up, and we may even amaze ourselves
To see the summary of whom we have become, as actuality is defined. It delves

Below our surface awareness, and that's why we can confound our own self
As the analysis summarizes from the data stored on the shelf.
I suppose we should periodically survey our stored record of our past
And discard the outdated, the ineffective, and the defective that need not last.
