One Way to Live A Long Life

Well, at least it will make it seem long. I have observed this, as have you.
If you're waiting for a promised phone call that never rings, a few
Minutes seem like forever, and it seems to string out beyond never,
While that someone who promised is on their way to another... and never

Even remembered about what they promised you.
Their time and mind have traveled on, and by this time, yours has, too.
One philosophical approach is to assume the waiting stance.
At least your length of life will seem much longer as you do this old, old dance.
