My Best

"My best" was not always "the best." Oh, it wasn't deliberate - I always tried
To give my best in whatever project I was involved, but in favor of my side
We can only measure "My best" by the rules established as we grew,
But if we do fall short, we can reevaluate and redefine what "I never knew."

Keep this in mind and as your life regenerates along that long, long way -
It may clarify more sharply how you think and what you say.
That's the story of, that's the glory of what life is all about;
As you continue to evolve, you evaluate and learn what "My best" is all about.
