Looking for love in all the wrong places -
Love parades, many times, in different forms and faces.
This is very probably the most often given reason
For so much searching in and out of appropriate season.

Unless we know and understand what true love really is
Then what parades as love can and does deceive us. 'Tis
So easy for deceitful people to make this deception a hobby.
For there are those love hungry people falling for their lobby.

To the unscrupulous people offering sex as commitment
There's just one whole big page of omittment:
The deceiver never clarifies by word or deed
Any emotion that even slightly resembles love or creed.

Only after the conquest, another feather in their cap,
Does the truth expose the perpetrators and dump the consequence in your lap.
But in this instance it is too late to rectify the deed already done
And it may just change your life when, to them it was only fun.
