Listen Quietly

Listen with your heart, and quietly the awareness will dawn,
Drifting softly over your mind bringing a peace unknown,
Bringing new realities to nourish the body and the soul.
Gifts from God, given so freely for the taking to have and to hold,

Reward the spirits' searching for peace not born of earth.
They satisfy the needs of those who seek, and reaffirm our worth.
This placid place you find your peace can only be found by you.
If you search you will find as so many have. More than a few.

We each find in our own time and our own way this inner peace,
Welcoming it as a breath of fresh air, a sweet release.
Listen quietly - it will come - the unspoken comfort. It permeates
And restores us in our spirit. Completely recreates.
