I Said to Myself

That busload of people that just passed is going to a specific place,
But each one on the bus may be headed for a different place.
Such an analogy. That segment of their trip will involve that load,
But that's just one leg of each one's journey down that road.

So like life as a whole. We are on many vehicles at different parts
Of our journey. Each mile traveled is important, for in our hearts
We understand there'll be other times and other vehicles as we go.
But for today, this is the way I take on my way to...
