I Have Written

For so long about degrees of every description.
Some I can describe and some are beyond description.
Life is lived by degrees, little segments, each and every day.
In the ending of all our days on earth, our total picture we portray.

To the degree that you have utilized each and every "inth" of each degree
Is how the total picture will appear, and it's then, you and your world will see
Just how it all came down and what story is told and to what degree.
I could discuss it forever, but not until your experience, will you see:

A broken spirit can only heal by degrees. An abandoned child
Will take maybe a whole life to learn to ever again smile.
The facts are ever evident, by whatever degree, to tell the total story
Of each who's lived, a day at a time, degree by degree, to finish our story.
