I Give Thanks

For every good and perfect gift, for all the positives in my life
I'm especially grateful for the wonder of people who help to make my life
A better life. Without them I would not live to even imagine
What this life would be like... could be described as comic-
tragedy.

These special positive ones are not trying for some "grand review."
They're just them "being them." To them, this is nothing new.
They go marching on, not totally aware of the good they have done,
For that's just the way they are. It comes as naturally as the rising sun.

They do what comes naturally. They leave the proof of their concept
As a lingering legacy to follow them, just moving on while less aware ones slept.
I do give thanks for these unsung ones who moved in less obvious ways
Doing miracles on this earth, never waiting for any effusive praise.
