I've Been Told

I've been told "You never run out of something to say."
Most people talk till the moment they "go away."
Life goes on. If we go with it, and we are interested at all,
We keep discussing this old world and try not to fumble the ball.

I was one of those inquisitive small people and I ain't changed.
I had to analyze and question everything that was in my range.
That doesn't mean everyone sees life through my eyes,
But these same people like to share just in case we both get wise.

I always considered many viewpoints and from there I formed
Some ideas during some real strong brainstorms.
Being free agents, we all do that to some degree,
And that's how it is here; wouldn't you logically agree?

As circumstances change every day, we reassess some opinions
And we like to call that progress in this "people" dimension.
It doesn't mean you're wishy-washy. It means life is.
I reckon life would get real boring if it was ditto each day. As is,

We get to experience many phases as we travel along.
Now, our reaction to what the world presents could be a song
Or some long-winded complaint, and we all know a lot about that.
We do our share and then share with some other high-hat.

Well, once again, I have a lot to say about everything including the "why."
Just hang on till I run down, although it may defy
You to ever listen again. But now that I'm winding down,
You can reiterate and comment and pass your own opinion down.
