He Is Risen

This victorious shout meant "victory over death."
Heavenly sustenance came to replace the human breath.
A blazing crown of glory to replace the bloody crown of thorns.
Mission accomplished, the empty cross stood alone. And the mighty stone

That separated Him and man, the angel rolled away
To reveal the eternal plan, now fulfilled, to reveal the eternal day.
Going home to heavenly welcome, returning as the victor.
The awful price was paid. No more debt to pay. He is the victor.
