Have You Ever Noticed?

Have you ever noticed where your own tolerance line stops?
Different people have varying tolerance levels. Tops
Would be for some, an unpaid debt or a loose gossipy tongue.
Some would put a brake on the praise song that was sung.

When the trusted one betrayed in every conceivable manner,
You drew in your support and laid down your celebration banner.
Now, how long did it take before you cut them out,
And you finally realized they were not worthy to be shouted about.

It seems that people who betray either are just ignorant or just mean.
Now, what their reason is, is not the issue at this revealing scene.
The survival thing will be uppermost in your mind,
For love, kindness and tolerance can only extend, we all find,

To the point we know it's all wasted and not accepted.
You feel the futility of betrayal and that relationship is beyond resurrecting.
We probably do not overload our life with a linger regret,
Just a resigned sadness that you and your betrayer ever met.

Those who spend their life living in positive ways
Aren't always the world's candidate for all that praise.
Likely, they are considered an easy target for some scam.
Well, just in case you never noticed, just thought I'd review it from where I am
