Give Your Words Meaning

People who make a huge show of semantics usually feel
They need additional force to impress their words and make appeal.
I remember seeing someone on TV who was speaking grandly, with great gestures
To add power to his message. I thought - that man, without a question

Feels he's giving power to his message, as though the message alone
Was inadequate to impress and convince. His words alone
Should have conveyed their great value by what he spoke.
Powerful words will find an ear to convince, not provoke.

Also, words of believability or proven value find a willing ear
To capture the meaning and their value to those we hear,
For as our mind processes and evaluates them, we store them safely in our heart,
And they linger there throughout all our life to become an integral part.
