Gardening Is So Rewarding

For one thing, it all happens right as you prepare soil
And plant your seeds. Then you water them every day with a dab of toil
And extras are just "frosting on the cake." Barring some freak disaster,
You now have your little kingdom, and you, the loving master.

At first, it grows so slow. You just can't wait to claim
All those anticipated rewards that feel a lot like "fame."
In my case, I just plant a dab of each thing I like
'Cause I know when the harvest comes, I'm gonna have to take a hike

To utilize all those wonderful goods, and also, I can share
With some who have no garden space. No joy can compare!
"Homemade" vegetables taste so fresh and rewarding, they're still viable.
They're firm and solid, brimming with taste, ready to share their love with you.
