Each Day A New Day

We get to start over every day and try to do all
We never got to do the day before. We never really scale the wall,
But at least feel we've been afforded another chance.
We attack the "undone" without a backward glance.

Sometimes one mountain or one mole hill
Will drag on for so long it begins to lose the will
To even hope it will some day hear your "Well Done."
Other major and minor projects already pushing to be done.

Prudence would suggest to choose by priority each day's selection
To determine just which project and which direction.
In my carefully evaluated and my real humble opinion . . .
Each day of our life extends forever . . . to be continued.
