Creative People

"Creative people" have "creative messes." If you are one or know one,
I'm sure you're with me so far. There is no other way it's done.
The mind is always skittering hither and thither, instinctively pulling thoughts together
From inspiration that is light and airy, floating like a feather.

Information lying dormant amongst the litter of your room
And being sorted, analyzed and put in print in that same room.
I dare you to tell me I am wrong! I remember one conversation
When I declared my "creative litter" as my loving friend. What an allegation!

Only one who understands this is qualified to really criticize.
The creative one can dream and plan and write and fantasize.
The average person gathers litter for the garbage can
The "writer" gathers it for wisdom to share with as many as they can.
