Beyond Always

I have always treasured life, no matter how difficult it became.
I understood that life was not just physical and that carried me, without fame.
In this state of mind, you understand where it's all going,
And with fame or without fame, you're grounded solid and not just blowing

In the winds that can toss you way off course, with no direction
And no allowance for re balance or some semblance of correction.
I feel this life is where we build the spiritual substance of our soul
Which will follow us beyond the grave to make us whom we were planned of old.
