Another Page To Write!

It's nearing dawn as I stand gazing to the east
Wondering what this day will bring and just what problematic beast
Will I slay in my quest to conquer threats of this new day.
Before I rush to start, I best will need to pray

For needed wisdom, strength and a courage strong
To seek the best and do my best for all concerned and not go wrong.
When, on tomorrow's memory of this day, I can honestly say,
"I tried my best to fulfill my projected promise of yesterday."

So each day will go with anticipated promise of a tomorrow
And, hopefully bringing happiness without any sorrow
To lay this day to rest amongst the pages of earthly time.
I, again, will face the east to await another day of my earthly time.
