And So It Goes

Through the aeons of ages this earth has existed
The billions of people who've lived and died remain unlisted.
No doubt, we all to-day, are a combined mixture of everybody that's lived.
That comprehensive evaluation will likely give

Cause for great concern to those who place such value on
Their recent ancestors who might have been well known,
Famous for various reasons and some worthwhile deeds.
We need not forget them, but we're another seed.

This earthly visit is gone before you know it. We're only here a little while.
Those who understand the soul lives on after earth's last mile
Have much more reason to fulfill life because they understand
That their soul will live on with yet another set of plans.
