Advice

Some will take it and then there's some that won't!
There're some who will ask for it and there're some that don't!
Advice offered, given or taken is like any other interaction
Between us of the human race. Not even a fraction

Of our population considers that anyone else is more qualified
To counsel them than their own intelligence. They seem satisfied
With their own advice and choices, no matter how far downhill
Their own advice has taken them. Downhill and through the mill!

In another decade or so, each maturing generation
Will outgrow the place where they were accountable for expectations.
How many decades will continue to think more lenient laws apply,
Or no rules at all. How far can it continue before we all die.
