Above Reproach

How far above whose reproach?
Who is qualified to reproach?
Well, as always, it is all relative in context,
Pertaining directly to ideals and life's real quest.

As you grow older and hopefully wiser, you understand that your model
Of perfection is based on what you've been exposed to since a toddler.
On up to where you are now. As you advance in learning how to live,
Your expectations for your standards rise sharply, the more you can give.

If and when you can really feel you are reaching for the top,
Then there is nothing nor anyone who can even hope to stop
This elevating process or deter you from reaching for the best.
What more can you do. Just enjoy life and that will profess.

This does not exclude our legal laws which protect us all
From those who haven't learned they can fall.
These laws are based on the basic rules of law and they are there
To protect those who have learned from those that haven't learned to care.
