A Step Up - A Helping Hand
Most of us will define this "step up" in many various ways.
Your own life experiences will contribute to your definition of "today!"
And this never implies the "hand up" means you're lower than your helping hand.
It very likely has far more to do with the helper having reached to stand
A bit above. This is not to place anyone in a superior place but rather as
A statement of, "I'm here to help someone who, at this time, has
A special need for a hand in their step up and if you
Have made that step already, who better to assist than you.
Undoubtedly, you'll find someone who's a step up from you
Who'll offer you a hand up to a step higher. Does it matter who?
In this evolvement of life we learn to accept a hand
And we also learn, even more, to lend another a reaching hand.
